As a whirlwind tornado ripped through the heart of New York, Peter Sokoik had a vision of watching his house float away. At first he thought he was dreaming, when was the last time a floor or tornado hit New York City? Well he was wide awake and tornado had destroyed his backyard.
While his whole house didn't wash away in the flood, his mortgage was about to switch from his teaser Adjustable Rate ARM to a much much higher fixed rate that he couldn't afford. He was afraid his house would float away to the bank and his family would be out on the street. He cursed himself for listening to his broker in the first place, especially all the damage to his backyard from the storm.
As the old saying goes “a man’s home is his castle.” The benefits of owning a home are many, including financial security. He thought over the many reasons why to refinance
* SAVE HIS ARM and get out of a bad adjustable rate mortgage before he got screwed by the bank and lost his house. He wanted some stability because he was scared to death the floating rate would sink him.
* Lower Your Monthly Payments, he figured he could save a few dollars a month with a new loan and pay for his backyard fixup.
* Cash in Pocket
He figured he could cash out some extra money and take his family on vacation for a week to avoid the once in a lifetime mess New York was that day.
* Pay Off Credit Cards
He could take some of the cash and pay off his $12,800 in CC bills.
After thinking through all the benefits, he decided he owed it to his family and his wallet to try refinancing. Then the question became: with who?
He was left with the challenge of who to work with? Most mortgage brokers are shady, luckily he had a friend at NationalHomeSavings.com. They hooked him up with a deal that saved his house. phew. He was happy to say the least.
You never know when you'll find a good deal, so what I always do is look around and try new places. It only can help, especially in the current environment. Check out www.NationalHomeSavings.com today and maybe they can help you out too!
